There are a couple of rules to follow on the hub if you want to be successful or don't want to alienate the veterans.
1. DON'T BEG
- This means don't ask for cards or donations. This leaves a really bad taste in hubbers' mouths and will instantly make you hated on the hub. There isn't a worse way to start off
2. Say thanks on the giveaway post and afterwards when you win the giveaway
3. Send first if you are not trusted and are dealing with a trusted member of the hub
- Don't be afraid to ask around to see who is trusted or not
4. Give back to the hub
- Don't only participate in giveaways, also giveaway cards that you might not need. This improves other people's perceptions about you in the hub greatly
